LFW: Shoes

My LFW's post today is dedicated for shoe lovers, of course Sophia Webster got her own post because I'm obssessed with her entire collection for S/S 2013. here are some brands that caught my fashion radar:

Parsons School of Design alumni Richard Braqo is a new London-based shoe designer who has previously worked with the Cesare Paciotti, Helmut Lang, and Acne Studios. His five-inch pointy pump with the unexpected ‘ankle bangle’ stopped me in my tracks. I love when classic styles get updated with unfamiliar elements. And because I have a soft spot for velvet (done in an un-tacky way of course), I loved the one shown below. Not sure how comfortable they'd be,

French Sole is not a new brand but I had to share with you these really cute laser-cut emerald green ballerina flats from their new S/S 2013 collection. It's so refreshing to see something completely different, in terms of design, from what we usually see at French Sole, you know the usual bow-ties.

And guess who I finally met in person? UAE designer Sultan Al Darmaki! I've seen his work on blogs and online magazines and I remember falling in love with his tassel shoes which he designed for previous collections. I think it was last year's? In person he is such a sweetheart and I was only allowed to take one photo of his designs, totally understandable, so I took a shot of this peach-colored sandals with a Baroque-like detail. I think his collection will be displayed at Harvey Nichols Kuwait soon.

Alejandro Ingelmo disco metallic blue stilettos shown below is what attracted me to the brand's display. I can just imagine how stunning they'd look on sun-tanned legs. I'm not sure if the brand is stocked anywhere in Kuwait, but the brand's name sounds very familiar. You can find out more by clicking here. The above photo is also some of Alejandro Ingelmo designs.
