Last night I passed by CAP Gallery to check out Style Me Kuwait event. Here's a small intro about the event and what was it all about. Image Factor Dubai along with Tara Sillery of PR Passion hosted an exclusive two day styling workshop. The workshop was conducted by International Stylist and Founder of Image Factor Marissa Woods, where she provided trainees with styling tips and tricks to become a professional stylist.
The trainees who attended the workshop also got the chance to participate in a competition to become Kuwait’s Next Top Stylist, judged by a panel of celebrity judges where the winner is given a break into the fashion industry as a professional stylist.
I was supposed to pass by early but being asthmatic, dusty weather suffocates me and I kept on procrastinating in hopes of the dust clearing up, of course that didn't happen so I arrived to the event a tad too late. I was bummed! However, I did manage to get a quick view of some of the items that were on display by regional designers. It is worth mentioning that our fellow bloggerista and cute-as-a-button Pretty in Pleats was a runner-up in the competition! Congratulations!
I think this strapless gown and Karl Lagerfeld tees (cute!) were designed by a Dubai-based brand called 4C.
Lovely colors by Paris-based brand Caroline Monick
The goody bags? And below a list of the regional brands that participated in the event
