Exclusive: Introducing Les Nereides‏

I have been invited by Al Ostoura recently to preview their latest arrival by french accessories brand called: Les Nereides at their Lime Light boutique in the Avenues Phase II. I've always had a soft spot for whimsical jewelry, but what I saw that night was on a complete new level of whimsical. Founded in Nice-France in 1980 by Pascale and Enzo Amaddeo, Les Nereides offers a beautiful and distinguished selection of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings inspired by nature, culture, and fairytales. The handcrafted collection is quite reasonably priced too, the pieces range between approximately KD 15-KD 60. The brand also has a more affordable line, featured way below, called N2 line, which tends to be a tad funkier, it would definitely appeal to those who are looking for unique, fun and whimsy accessories. I went crazy over the pearl and snail inspired set shown here so I got the necklace with the matching earrings. And now after taking a closer look at my Les Nereides photos, I think I'm heading back there soon for a couple of pieces that missed my fashion radars.
