Charming
How adorable are these mini charms are?! The charms are shaped as a classic Salvatore Ferragamo handbag and I have spotted them during a recent visit to the brand's new branch in 360 Mall. They're so tiny and almost have the size of a lipstick. Great gift idea for the classic fashionista in your life. Price tag? Around KD 46.

Dear Confashion: Beautique Salon in Keifan
The 2nd branch of Beautique salon has just recently opened in Keifan Mall next to Keifan Co-op. I haven't been to it yet, but the serenity and beauty of the interior design is tempting me to make my bookings right away. The interior has been designed by a newly established local business called bab.nimnim run by two talented Kuwaiti architects, Jassim M. Al-Saddah & Amera A. Al-Awadhi. Looking at the photos, I must say they have done an amazing job! Well done guys!

Just Like Isabel Marant...
The Isabel Marant runway show of baseball inspired look with cropped denim in a playful pink hue was one of my favorite looks of the season. Everything about her designs look seemingly effortless! And those candy pink cropped pants! aaah! TDF!! Of course they sold out with a blink of an eye on net-a-porter.com (the pink jeans of course), and honestly I don't want to pay a 3-digit number for a baseball jacket that I'll only be wearing once or twice. BUT you can always count on highstreet for budget friendly finds! Like the ones I have featured here which I spotted at TopShop. A baseball jacket (KD 28) AND a pair of cropped pink jeans (KD 19.500)?!! Total? KD 47.500! That will do the job.

Karl in Kuwait
The Karl Lagerfeld capsule collection for Hogan, which I have spotted last March in London, is now available at Hogan boutique in the Avenues Phase II. Still not too thrilled about this collection but it doesn't hurt to spread the word.

Luxury Trends for Less
In addition to color-blocking, two of S/S 2011's hottest trends to come out of Fashion Week are white-on-white and botanical floral prints. And you don't have to break the bank to rock these trends. The high street us full of chic and extremely affordable options. Like this cute white dress with 3-bow detail from Uterqüe boutique in the avenues. Price tag? KD 79. Would look smashing with sun-kissed skin and minimal accessories.
Zara's D&G-ish dress with pretty floral prints is perfect for a summer pool party. Price tag? KD 32.500

Tie it like it's hawt...
Remember the cute wooden doll necklaces with leather strap which I spotted at Bimba & Lola and which I referred to as the Mcqueen and Prada dolls. Well just recently they have received this cute silk scarf decorated with the same doll. I think the scarf makes a chic hair cover-up when you're at the beach/pool, tied around your bag, or even loosely tied around your neck.

Only at Kuwait's Missoni Hotel
I spotted this interesting photo on LadyB's blog who covered the official launch of Kuwait's Missoni Hotel. I must say that this is a very interesting choice of fabric used for a dishdasha (a traditional men's costume). And I think this look only works at Missoni Hotel.

Video: Jump for Joy
Net-a-Porter's latest video clip Jump for Joy captures the season’s must-have jumpsuits as they have never been seen before. Shot using the Phantom Flex, the newest in high speed digital photography, this state-of-the-art camera slows down every shot by more than 100 times, changing the world of high speed digital photography forever. AMAZING!

Meemo Land
Here's another reason why I love Bahrain. a new concept store called Meemo Space, that focuses on bringing an artistic touch to retail, is opening tomorrow. Meemo Space will be selling art, fashion, house wear, accessories and anything that flows within the realm of creativity. This new branch was created after the success of the original Meemo store that was opened in November 2009 in Seef Mall.
Commenting on the opening, Mariam Alumran, owner and founder of Meemo Space, said: "I wanted to make a larger space that would allow local talent to exhibit their creations within a unique atmosphere. The space and its design was inspired by European style galleries and boutiques that are always remade from what was left behind, giving you a feeling of an old space in a new time."

Living La Vida Royal
I’m always a sucker for contemporary silhouettes with a hint of Middle Eastern influence on dinnerware and home accessories, and here are a couple of the latest reasons why… check out these beautiful tea classes (istikanat), serving platters, and trays from Royal La Vida boutique, which recently opened in Sun City Mall in Shuwaikh. They also offer bed covers and spread sets, table and bath sets, and candles. Check out their selection here.

Going Gothic With Givenhchy
Ever since Ricardo Tisci took the reigns over at Givenchy seasons ago, my love for this brand grew and now knows no bounds. And fortunately for me, I just found out by coincidence that the Givenchy boutique in 360 Mall carries a stunning and fierce selection of the latest accessories. For some reason I was always under the impression that the boutique always stocked the old, bad, and ugly Givenchy pieces and styles. I was so glad to pop inside the boutique the other day and I fell in love A LOT of gothic-like shoes and accessories that I decided to sleep on it and decide which one to go for the day after. Think heavy and think golden chains, shoes designed using woven leather straps (heart!), pyramid studs, leopard prints, and distressed leather.
