Some days during the Summer I get really board especially these days when most of my family members and some of my close friends are out of town. So I was pleased when I received an invite to attend the opening night of FA Gallery's Buzzart Summer Festival, which have launched last night and will run until 29th August. The festival brings together unique creations and design items from different parts of the world. So I called one of my friends and asked her to join me. As we arrived, we noticed that the place was very lively and products such as shoes, accessories, caftans, ready-to-wear, house accessories & furniture, and perfumes were displayed in various spaces throughout the gallery. Although the exhibition space is kind of small, I did find several items that I really liked (excluding caftans! For some reason I didn't make an effort to scan them over)). So here some highlights of the evening...
I really liked these pair of aennis eunis arabesque heels which I have featured before on my blog here. Too bad they didn't come in half sizes!
These clutches, made from wood and mother of pearl, are by a Brazilian brand and they're my 2nd most favorite pieces on display. Starting price KD 197+.
A new line of perfumes by Jenan Al Faris. I couldn't try them all, but 2 out of 3 perfumes which I have tried smelled really good! Price tag? Around KD 40.
Fahad Al Marzouq's shoes collection was on display too.
Lovely and very casual chic mix and unmatch tops designed by Beirut-based designer Nadine Mneimneh, which I have also featured here.
Funny t-shirts courtesy of Kuwait-based fashion designer Tahir Sultan
