I first saw this photo on Twitter and I immediately fell in love. This Bone Bracelet beauty is made using 24K yellow gold and oxidized silver and decorated with rubies and 2.15CTS diamonds. It was designed by a Turkish company based in Ankara Turkey called Atelier Minyon.
It really takes a certain amount of confidence and cool to carry off such a little odd yet astonishingly beautiful piece. I just can’t seem to shake the idea of wearing it all year long. Yes it is a bit more dramatic than the usual cuffs and bracelets, but I feel like it generates 1,000 watts of gothic glam effect that’s insanely fashion-forward.
Here’s a little something about Atelier Minyon, In 2008, Atelier Minyon was created to expand Jewel House of Minyon in the United States. Atelier Minyon is a jewelry design house that melds the romantic history of Turkey with modern design and offers fresh innovative collections never before seen in the United States. they have opened their first US store in SoHo, NYC in 2008. And EVERY piece is hand made and one of a kind so they pride themselves on no two pieces being the same.
I'll leave you with some more of my Minyon favourites. To find out more about Atelier Minyon, visit their site or facebook group.

I vividly remember the first time I saw Nejoud Boodai on KTV, or was it MBC, and got to know about her journey as a fashion designer. It was probably 10 years ago and I remember during her interview, she showed us a sketch of a men’s suit designed by her and I was blown away by her creative design and how she used the buttons of the blazer and made them somehow attached to the button-down shirt. I was mesmerized by her creativity, confidence, and motivation. And I think she won an award for this specific design. Years later she ventured into different businesses and one of them was the launch of N.B. Boutique which I have featured on my blog on numerous occasions, actually the above photo was the first photo I've taken of her boutique. It’s one of my favorite places for unique gift ideas and lovely hard to find accessories.
Sadly, Nejoud Boodai passed away two days ago. Gone but definitely not forgotten. She will always be remembered as one of the first Kuwaiti fashion icons. For fear of sounding cliché, I’ll end this post with a link to Nejoud Boodai’s bio.

Last month MeBlogging posted about Lady GaGa by Zara t-shirts. And ever since then and I've been trying to find one, I lost hope and interest after a couple of weeks. Then, just recently while shopping around Zara, I came across several pieces left of Lady GaGa t-shirts AND one for Michael Jackson too! Price tag? KD 7.500.
A close friend of mine who knows how much I’m obsessed with window displays sent me these photos of Moschino’s window display in Milan having its new face-lift for the season. Love the cloud-like faces of the mannequins!

From boudoir to daywear, lace is no longer for lingerie or evening wear. I spotted these cute knitted cardigans with pretty and delicate lace inserts at Oasis and Zara. So now you can sport this trend with your jeans, pencil skirts, or feminine 50’s full skirt and still look regal (with plenty of money to spend on something else). Featured black and beige cardigans are from Oasis and are priced at KD 18 each.
Zara blush pink cardigan KD 15.500

On Wednesday the 25th of August Mulberry hosted a fashion installation at Tanjong Beach Club , in Singapore, to celebrate the autumn winter ‘10 collection. VIP's were transported to the venue in London cabs. Guests were served Prawn cocktail, mini fish and chips, mini burgers followed by mini lemon meringue pies and mini Alexa cupcakes. After the shows guests were treated to Alexa Chung DJ'ing and proceeded to dance around the pool! Here are some photos of the event.
At first glance I actually thought this this Alexa bag IS a.. BAG! But actually it's a amazingly baked and decorated cake. WOW!
Love those mini Alexa cupcakes!!

One of Net-a-Porter's recently added brands is Lot78, started by designer Ollie Amhurst in 2008 after ten years spent working for legendary fashion house, Giorgio Armani. The London-based designer creates ultra-stylish tailored leather and jersey outerwear that is timelessly cool. I love the hand-finished, vintage-inspired biker jackets with hardware detailing. Makes effortless weekend chic easy. Check it out here.
