So back to my NYC posts,
Opening Ceremony is
the place to go to for your cutting edge fashion fix. Located in Soho, this funky boutique showcases designers from a different country each year. And even though the stock display is not so shopper-friendly and it's kind of congested from the inside, but it's one of the BEST places I have been to so far in NYC. Shopping there felt like a treasure hunt, you need to go through every item carefully so that not to miss out on the statement pieces. Here are my top two fave
OC items...

I was so mesmerised by this green and blue digital print silk mini skirt by
Peter Pilotto. The skirt is encrusted with beautiful gems and appliques and one of the most eye-catching and beautiful pieces I have ever seen during my trip. It was around
USD 2,350 (
KD 677).

And I'm
sooo in love with my
Pendleton Meets
Opening Ceremony Tight
Peplum Coat. Just look at how well
structured the ruffle is. And It even looked
smashin' when tried on. Around
USD 650 (
KD 187).

Then we went to
Balthazar for lunch. It serves traditional delicious bistro meals and its owned by the same people that own
Pastis. The ambiance is very cheerful and once
inside for some reason you feel like you're in the heart of Paris. If you plan to go there, check out the next door Balthazar Bakery for desserts and baked stuff.
