While I was shopping around at Villa Moda Shuwaikh for new Spring/Summer clothes to buy, I saw this uber-cute satin coat in blush pink at D&G. normally this style is so not my thing, but this very light coat for some reason was too adorable to pass up on. All I can imagine was me wearing the Jackie-O style coat over a black structured dress, my pearls, a black Kelly bag, and sky-high stilettos. I tried it on, it looked gorgeous for a couple of minutes then I was like... blah.And then I saw this equally adorable clutch in pink patent leather.. it’s sooo cute to look at, and then I soon got bored.. It's just not my thing I guess. Moving on...

I always heard rumours that some of the stores in Kuwait were selling counterfeit goods but I always thought that they were just rumours.
I was always told that Al-Ostoura sells counterfeit products but none of the pictures provided had any Al-Ostoura brands.
But then again this is Al-watan which is reporting which makes me uncertain of the validity of this article.
I guess I'm going to continue shopping exclusively in Europe.
Oh please, Villa Moda selling fake? Sheikh Majed is personally chummy with most of the designers and he has a very solid reputation. Therefore, I highly doubt that they buy/sell fake goods. Moreover, by contract, a store like Villa Moda must buy a minimum selected amount of clothing that are in wholesale. Thus, it is cheaper for him to buy in bulk. Not only that, but Villa Moda, unlike Al-Ostoura or Al-Othman, is world-renowned and its status is highly based on its excellent merchandise and impeccable service.

Villa Moda does not sell fakes, I KNOW FOR SURE.
They are known world wide, and would never do such things.
Plus they have close personal ties with many of the brands and designers.

And Яeema, it is obvious to anyone reading the article that those photos were taken pf products sold in places like City Center and such. Not luxury retailing.

Villa Moda does not sell fakes; check the designers' store locators (in their websites), which proves that they are supplying goods to Villa Moda thus these are rumors!!
they always say this about designer stores in the khaleej. they said the same thing about stores in bahrain. my friend told me not to buy from Louis vuitton because 'theyre fake in bahrain'.. i didnt believe it though
anyway i dont like the coat but the clutch is cute, even though i hate pink.
